The one where sleep training begins.

Me: Olivia M. R. go to bed!
She: No Mama R.

Yep. That happened.

This kid. At naps, she’s cuddled to sleep because she’s the last one ready to close her eyes. And she’s so damn cute. At home, P puts her to sleep because she wants to play with me all night.

Now P is having surgery. Which means I have to get her to sleep. And I’m a sucker when she cries. So. I’m screwed.

Tonight, while Super Nanny would not be completely disappointed, sucked poop. It took two hours, tears, trips back to bed, leaving, returning, and some hugs before she passed out from exhaustion. I’m sure there’s things I needed to get done in anticipation of surgery day. Did. Not. Happen. Can’t even remember what that was supposed to be.

It’s going to be a long two weeks.

Take pity. Send vodka.
